PAW Animal Shelter

We had the pleasure of designing a new animal shelter and adoption center in Fort Madison, Iowa. The design was based on a pre-engineered metal building, and we meticulously coordinated the integration of all necessary elements into the program. The facility offers a variety of spaces to support the diverse aspects of the business. To enhance the overall environment, we maximized natural light for all occupants by incorporating clerestory windows into the design. Additionally, we selected interior materials known for their durability and low maintenance requirements, contributing to the building's longevity. The animal shelter was thoughtfully designed to meet the varied needs of both the shelter's resident animals and the employees working there, with the primary goal of creating an effective work environment.
