Commercial and Residential Mixed Use Renovation
Located in Downtown Muscatine, Iowa, this project started with a vacant commercial building originally constructed in the late 19th century.
Recognizing the potential, the owners purchased the property and are embarking on the restoration of the building to contain street level commercial space, two spacious rental units on the second floor and their personal residence on the top floor with a rooftop addition and terrace. Beginning with a complete demolition of the interior, major work in underway to clean and tuck point the brick and replace and repair the roof. This 16,000 s.f. renovation is scheduled to be complete by Spring 2018 – stay tuned to the Blog for progress updates!
