RBW Memory Care Residential Care Facility

The program houses residents in a small, residential environment. Each resident has a private bedroom with shared communal baths. A single kitchen and dining area serves the facility where residents enjoy meals together. A large recreation and living space with screened porch completes the program area. The lower level of the facility includes a walkout basement with provisions to provide a temporary accommodation for visiting friends and family separate from the resident area. Designed to fit the style and scale of the surrounding residential neighborhood, the exterior palette of masonry, lap siding and asphalt shingles provides a comfortable, familiar environment for residents in need of skilled care.

The building is wood frame construction with an insulated concrete form (ICF) foundation. The facility is protected by a sprinkler system throughout and is carefully designed and specified to meet State of Iowa requirements for a residential care facility (RCF).
