Contemporary Barn Residence
This project is the first phase of an ambitious to turn a rural plot of agricultural land in southern Johnson County into a live-work space for the young family.
The building provides ample storage and shop space on the main level with the services for the second floor residence. The building is primarily pole barn construction with corten steel exterior siding and a steel roof. The project provided a site master plan that will eventually contain a home and other accessory buildings to support the working farm and orchard. This project was completed in 2019.
